Senior Infrastructure Engineer / Infrastructure Support Engineer - Basingstoke - 3 days a week in the office - £65-70k + benefits.
The Opportunity: We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with extensive 3rd Line Support skills to join a Basingstoke based organisation who are part-way through a significant digital transformation programme. The role requires onsite presence in the office 3 days per week.
The Role: You will be responsible for providing support on IT Systems for users who are predominantly based in the Basingstoke office although there are some other sites across the UK. There's a mix of BAU work but you'll also play a key role in the delivery of new projects.
Key Tasks: - Provide 3rd Line Support across the Wintel and Linux Stack - Design, implement and manage complex hybrid infrastructure solutions - Manage the cloud infrastructure (mixed environment with Azure, GCP and AWS - Azure / GCP are the main platforms) - Help to ensure a proactive service is provided ensuring high quality systems are in place, working and proactively maintained - Act as a technical escalation point for the Service Desk Team - Participate in the on call rota
