Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Drive improvements to deliver new and updated core infrastructure services, according to business and user needs, based on clear evidence, to ensure maximum value is achieved from services Drive automation throughout the core infrastructure estate, adopting modern approaches, such as, Infrastructure as Code, where relevant Maintenance of core infrastructure services through: Identifying problems through analysis and proactively supporting resolution including documenting causes and remedies. Identifying and implementing functional, performance and quality improvements to the core infrastructure estate Skills and Qualifications Essential qualifications/licenses: ITIL Foundation, if not currently held will work towards. They are looking for someone who: Can engage and communicate with colleagues of all levels. Has the ability to present technical ideas and concepts in the language of the business and its users. Has highly developed problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate user and business needs into practical, appropriate technical solutions.
