Cititec is partnering with a leading global commodities trading firm to hire a Senior Integration Engineer. You'll design and build scalable, high-performance integration solutions that connect complex trading systems and data flows critical to business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain integration architectures using Java (Spring Boot) and middleware




• Build and manage RESTful APIs and data pipelines for real-time trading information




• Optimize messaging systems like Kafka for low latency and high throughput




• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, resilient integration solutions




• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues swiftly




• Drive continuous improvements in integration patterns and practices

What You Need:

• 8+ years in Java backend development and enterprise integration




• Strong knowledge of microservices, event-driven design, and messaging platforms




• Experience with Kafka and API development (REST/GraphQL)




• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases




• Good understanding of CI/CD, containerisation, and cloud- integration (AWS, Azure, GCP)




• Excellent communication and collaboration skills




• Commodity trading or financial services experience a plus
