Senior iOS Engineer – Manchester (Hybrid)

As a Senior Engineer, you’ll play a hands-on role in designing, building, and maintaining mission-critical iOS applications. You’ll also mentor other engineers, champion best practices, and foster a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous learning. What you’ll be doing…
- Designing and developing scalable, performant iOS applications using Swift.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Engaging with APIs and external interfaces to enhance mobile-first capabilities.
- Promoting best practices, design patterns, and coding standards.
- Advocating for test automation, code quality, and Extreme Programming approaches.
- Supporting continuous improvement through CI/CD pipelines and modern tooling.
- Debugging and resolving complex issues across internal and third-party systems.
- Staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, feeding innovation into the roadmap.
- Mentoring and guiding team members, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
What we’re looking for…
- Proven experience as a hands-on iOS Engineer, with strong proficiency in Swift.
- Track record of making technical decisions that lead to maintainable, scalable products.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, able to inspire high standards within the team.
- Passion for building secure, reliable, and testable applications.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in quick-service retail, e-commerce, or consumer digital services is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with a focus on innovation.
