Assistant Vice President You will play a key role in the transformation of Rates and Credit Fixed Income technology landscape. As part of our multi-year platform modernisation project, you will be responsible for building a suite of new, real-time, high-performance applications supporting various trading workflows. You will be involved in building solutions across the stack and working closely with Business stakeholders to build a maintainable, operationally efficient and scalable platform to last the next decade. We have implemented a model that enables eligible employees to work remotely for a part of their working time and reach a working pattern that works for them Competitive salary and non-contributory pension 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase additional days Life Assurance and Private Healthcare for you and your family A range of flexible benefits including Retail Discounts, a Bike4Work scheme and Gym benefits The opportunity to support a wide ranging CSR programme + 2 days’ volunteering leave per year Your key responsibilities Develop a suite of modern, real-time, high-performance React applications to support core rates and credit trading workflows Drive full-stack solution design – collaborate with backend engineers to design and deliver end-to-end solutions Engage directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand workflows and rapidly deliver impactful features that improve business efficiency Your skills and experience Solid Core Java Skills – Good understanding of Java fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, collections, exception handling and concurrency programming.
