About the Role

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you’ll join a high-performing team that’s passionate about solving real-world engineering challenges using machine learning, mathematical optimization, operations research, and generative AI.

This isn’t a research lab. It’s where ideas become impactful tools that power our SaaS platform and change the way buildings are designed and built.

• Design, implement, and deploy AI/ML models into production systems
• Build robust frameworks, pipelines, and tooling to support scalable solutions
• Tackle messy, real-world data to uncover actionable insights
• Work closely with domain experts and platform teams to integrate AI into our SaaS product
• Contribute across the entire ML lifecycle — from data wrangling to monitoring in production
• Stay sharp: Explore the latest in RL, optimization, genAI, and ML and bring fresh ideas to the table
• Collaborate across functions (including product, CTO, and clients) to deliver measurable value

• Master’s or PhD in Engineering, Data Science, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
• Strong Python skills for ML/AI and mathematical optimization
• Hands-on experience deploying ML models to production
• Clear, structured communicator with the ability to articulate technical decisions and trade-offs
• You’re a hard-working team player who thrives in a high-pace environment (and leaves the diva behavior at the door)
  

• Experience with Azure ML and/or AWS ML services
• Knowledge of civil engineering, HVAC, or mechanical engineering domains (a plus, not a requirement)
  

• Location: London office, Vauxhall
• Work model: 4 days in-office, 1 day remote per week

Since 2020, we have been on a mission to fundamentally change how our industry works, for the better. Real estate has suffered from decades of declining efficiency, high risk, and constant conflict. We cannot continue spending years and massive resources producing over engineered, underperforming buildings.

So we flipped the traditional value chain upside down, and we jumped on it.

Instead of engineering being a late stage bottleneck, we have made it a fast, AI driven front end enabler. From day one, it adds value by helping plan higher performing buildings for owners and users alike. With AI, up to 80 percent of today's engineering work can be automated, freeing human experts to focus on innovation, oversight, and creating real value.

This is not theory. We come from the industry, and we have trained the Autonomous Engineer to solve real problems in real projects. Real estate first. Always.

The impact is powerful. AI can optimize technical systems in buildings to reduce material use by 20 percent. In a sector that consumes nearly 40 percent of the world’s materials, that is a huge sustainability gain, and an even bigger step toward competitiveness.
