The Role A UK manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead process improvement and best practice initiatives within a precision machine shop environment. This is a hands-on role driving operational excellence, new product introduction, and manufacturing innovation. Youll be central to delivering improvements in cost, quality, and efficiency across our machining and assembly operations applying lean manufacturing principles and supporting strategic make or buy decisions.

Key Responsibilities Collaborate with R&D to ensure Design for Manufacture and seamless product introduction.

Lead Lean and CI projects to improve processes, reduce waste, and enhance quality.

Develop and maintain SOPs, routings, and standard work documentation.

Evaluate new manufacturing technologies and justify investment to support business goals.

Provide hands-on technical support to production teams to maintain performance and product quality.
