The role is based in Huddersfield with a commuting catchment from surrounding towns and cities.Key ResponsibilitiesBe the Subject Matter Expert for manufacturing processes liaising between Design Engineer team and Machine Tool OperatorsProvide technical guidance, problem solving skills and direction to the Manufacturing & Assembly teams to ensure quality standards and programme schedules are maintainedAdvise on the manufacturability of components and ability of machines to achieve right first time during the design reviewsLead PFMEA reviews including process mapping, risk mitigation and creation of approval proceduresInterpret and translate technical drawings into manufacturing drawingsDrive Continuous Improvement within each projectCreate, maintain and improve works orders with accurate routingsQualificationsExperience as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer within an Engineering environment where Turning, Boring, Milling and CNC processes are utilisedA working knowledge of assembly processesA strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & TolerancingAbility to use 2D & 3D CADExperience CNC programmingSalary & Benefitsup to £50,000 depending on experienceMon to Fri37.5 hours per week25 Days annual leave + Bank holidaysCompany pension contributions of up to 8%Compliance & How to ApplyPlease be aware that many roles working for our client will be subject to security and export control restrictions.
