Morson are recruiting on behalf of a defence client based in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria. The business are recruitng for 20 Manufacturing Engineers. PAY RATES : £47.17 UMBRELLA/ or £35.02 PAYE per hour PLUS £5.09 Per hour Holiday pay Duration : 12 months Plus/ Long-term / 37 hours per week Site working : Please note this will be a site based role in Barrow in Furness. 3 ON 4 off working shift may be available for some roles with shift uplift applied (TO BE CONFIRMED) The purpose of Manufacturing Engineering is to develop, implement and govern capable methods of manufacture, assembly, disassembly and repair (including method of verification) which can meet customer and business requirements for Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring compliance to design intent. As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer you will have significant involvement in key Manufacturing Engineering projects. You will use your knowledge and experience to guarantee delivery of Manufacturing Engineering outputs into Operations that ensure design intent can be met. The role holder will advise, coach and lead other team members as part of their daily responsibilities.
