Key Responsibilities of the Senior Manufacturing Engineer will include: Be the Subject Matter Expert for manufacturing processes liaising between Design Engineer team and Machine Tool Operators Provide technical guidance, problem solving skills and direction to the Manufacturing & Assembly teams to ensure quality standards and programme schedules are maintained Advise on the manufacturability of components and ability of machines to achieve right first time during the design reviews Lead PFMEA reviews including process mapping, risk mitigation and creation of approval procedures Interpret and translate technical drawings into manufacturing drawings Drive Continuous Improvement within each project Create, maintain and improve works orders with accurate routings
