Our expertise spans the design, construction, and maintenance of buildings and critical infrastructure worldwide.We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join our facilities team at West Middlesex University Hospital in Isleworth. This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.The roleReporting to the Maintenance SupervisorProvide technical engineering support within the Hard FM Services department by carrying out preventative maintenance to deadlines and maintaining paperwork to support PPM activitiesRespond to reactive and emergency faults and conduct reactive maintenance to ensure compliance with KPIsManage sub-contractors as necessary, working to a safe system of work and permit-to-work systemUndertake AP/RP duties for the disciplines for which appointedWork 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with participation in the out-of-hours on-call rota and the ability to respond/attend site within one hour of the callThe personMust hold a recognised mechanical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 3 in a mechanical discipline with suitable industry experience; AP in HV desirablePrevious supervisory and mentoring experience essentialExperience in building services maintenance is essentialWillingness to attain cross-skilling and IT literateExcellent customer service and communication skillsGood planning, organising and prioritising skillsAbility to show initiative and judgement to resolve problemsExperience in a healthcare environment is an advantageGood understanding of health & safety best practice; formal training an advantageOur benefitsGenerous holiday allowanceCompany share scheme2 paid volunteering days a yearCycle to work schemeSeason ticket loanEmployee assistance programmeWhat’s next?If this role is of interest, please click to register, apply, and track your progress.
