Contract Opportunity: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer\nHybrid / Remote (Northwest, Midlands, South East)\n6–12 months\n£40–£45/hr (Outside IR35)\nWe are working with a leading consultancy who, due to a significant pipeline of secured work, are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.\nWhat You will Be Doing:\n * \n Delivering detailed mechanical building services designs across a range of sectors including Residential, Student Accommodation, Data Centres, and Commercial developments.\n * \n Working on projects from early concept (RIBA Stage 1) through to delivery (Stage 5).\n * \n Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project delivery is on time and to specification.\n * \n Attending occasional site or office visits (approx. once a week).\n * \n Using Revit to produce and coordinate designs – experience essential.\nWhat You will Need:\n * \n Proven experience as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer within the building services sector.\n * \n Strong technical knowledge across mechanical services design.\n * \n Ability to manage your own workload and deliver to tight deadlines.\n * \n Proficiency in Revit and other industry-standard software.\nThe Perks:\n * \n Flexibility to work predominantly remotely.\n * \n Join a friendly and experienced team on high-profile, varied projects.\n * \n Competitive hourly rate (Outside IR35)
