The company designs and manufactures bespoke material handling equipment, with a particular focus on chutes. Responsibilities Producing detailed mechanical designs and 3D models using Autodesk Inventor

Performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate chute designs and ensure structural integrity

Supporting the implementation and use of Discrete Element Modelling (DEM) software (Altair) to simulate material flow

Collaborating closely with fabrication and engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with manufacturing processes

Taking ownership of design projects from concept through to completion

Contributing to design improvements and the development of bespoke solutions tailored to customer needs

Experience Proven experience in mechanical design engineering, ideally within the material handling or heavy industrial sectors
