ROLE – Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

SALARY - £40,000- £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

TYPE – Permanent

LOCATION – Warrington

My client is a specialist manufacturer of products and Engineering solutions. They are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in the Warrington area on a permanent basis.

The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ / Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Design / Engineering Design or similar 5 or more years’ industry experience ideally working in a similar industrial design / development role within a manufacturing environment Proficient with using SolidWorks or similar CAD software for design Confident knowledge of a variety of mechanical processes Experience working with rubber, polymer, hydraulics, and machinery Experienced designing products from concept to production Innovative and passionate about design Be technically minded with a head for problem solving Able to work well individually as well as part of a team
