Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Required!

Our client is a well-established, family-owned engineering business specialising in bespoke machinery and processing systems for the food industry.

On behalf of our client, we are recruiting a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their technical team. The successful candidate will manage specialist design projects from concept to completion, engage with customers, produce detailed designs, and oversee projects through manufacturing.

Package:

Full accountability for the design of customer-specific and mission-critical projects. Lead management of mechanical designers, including design review and approval. Conduct regular design meetings, providing effective communication and change management. Support technical strategy and provide engineering input throughout project stages, including installation and commissioning. Maintain a technical audit trail through design, procurement, installation, and commissioning. Deliver projects successfully with high-quality design, on time and within budget.
