We’re recruiting for a Senior Design Engineer to join a growing and well-established manufacturer of special-purpose machinery and automation systems.
With a strong order book, record sales, and continued investment in new projects, this is an excellent opportunity to take on more responsibility, add real value, and progress your career within a supportive, forward-thinking engineering team.
You’ll be a key part of the design function, leading projects from concept through to completion while mentoring junior engineers and driving continuous improvement across design standards.
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading projects from concept through to completion
* Assigning tasks and reviewing the work of fellow design engineers
* Producing innovative designs using 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or similar)
* Working closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver bespoke machinery solutions
* Contributing to continuous improvement and engineering problem-solving
