Senior Mechanical Engineer

Location: London

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 DOE

A leading multi-disciplinary building services consultancy firm is seeking to hire an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated and passionate, helping the firm deliver meaningful and sustainable projects.

Key responsibilities:

Provide mentorship to junior colleagues

Ensure projects are in line with building regulations/guidelines (CIBSE)

Attend site visits, liaise with clients/contractors and deliver presentations at meetings

Produce high quality drawings, specifications and calculations

Act as project lead, working closely with others to achieve a common goal What we’re looking for:

At least 6/7 years’ experience of design in building services

A proven record of delivering projects at every stage of design

An understanding of Net Zero Carbon for building design/upgrades

Proficiency in AutoCAD, IES, Revit/BIM and other industry software/modelling programmes

Chartered or working towards chartership (i.e. CIBSE)

A relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or another relevant field

Understanding of CDM regulations, electrical building services and standards of practicesBenefits:
