As part of Platforms and Services organisation, Weapon Systems (UK)designs, develops, manufactures and supports artillery systems, naval guns, small and medium calibre barrels and provides engineering capability to the wider business. Our global reach brings our customers a depth and breadth of expertise that meet critical needs in the air, on land, and at sea. The engineering role is based at our UK site at Barrow-in-Furness and is supported by a design team which includes Electronics, Software and Mechanical engineering disciplines . Key Responsibilities: Lead the development of solutions to technical issues as a member of an integrated project team, reporting to Technical Leads and directly to the customer.
