The Opportunity
Due to increased project expansion, our client is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team of nuclear specialists to deliver cutting edge solutions to key nuclear projects. You will have a role that’s out of the ordinary.
The role
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the effective management of the customer, including liaison and relationship development with existing and new customers. You will be responsible for managing the delivery of engineering and technical activities, through the application of process, domain knowledge and experience.
This role is full-time, 37 hours per week and is based in either of our Warrington or Leicester sites. This role provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
Ensure procedures, codes and standards are correctly identified and applied to engineering and technical activities.
Contribute to Project Safety Assessment process.
Ensure task and project risks are communicated and managed appropriately.
Produce, review and approve calculations, analyses, drawings, models, design basis documentation and technical reports as assigned.You will have the following qualifications & experience
Nuclear experience is not a requirement; we welcome applications from all engineering backgrounds.
Experience in working collaboratively in multi-disciplined teams to deliver activities on a range of project types.
Demonstrable experience in covering a variety of tasks across a range of complexities.
Good communication skills and the ability to interface with other disciplines.
Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering, or equivalent experience in relevant engineering discipline, with significant demonstrable experience.Get in touch now
