Senior/Principal Mechanical Engineer – Imaging Location: Chelmsford, Essex Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a passion for technology and precision design? We’re looking for a Senior/Principal Mechanical Engineer to play a leading role in the development of advanced imaging systems used in some of the most exciting projects. The Role In this position, you’ll take ownership of the design and development of bespoke mechanical systems and components for cutting edge imaging sensors, test equipment, and associated electronics. Your work will span the full lifecycle from concept generation and materials selection to detailed drawings and delivery ready designs. You’ll also design assembly jigs, test fixtures, and transport packaging, ensuring solutions are optimised for manufacture, cost, and lead time.
