The role is fast paced and dynamic, requiring high levels of autonomy and organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the development and delivery of assemblies and components supporting the mechanical integration of complex electromechanical systems, ensuring they meet performance and design requirements.
  • Develop solutions from a blank sheet through to detailed drawings for machined, cast, fabricated and additive manufactured components and assemblies using 3DX (CATIA V6).
  • Capture requirements and engineering activities aligned with system targets to document system level requirements.
  • Use a systems engineering approach to develop solutions, collaborating within multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Specify materials, surface finishes, treatments, and component tolerances to meet assembly and endurance requirements in harsh marine environments.
  • Optimize system and component designs for weight, cost, and efficiency while complying with certification requirements.
  • Compile and author technical documentation to support test, manufacturing processes, and customer information.
  • Support boat development programs where required.
  • Engage in the introduction of new technology where appropriate.
  • Attend team and 1-1 meetings and fulfill reporting requirements as required by Artemis Technologies.
