The role will require you to work on commercial sector projects but will predominantly focus on delivering UK Government Defence projects which will include site-based operations. These will require you to be based on the site location for part of the working week when project requirements dictate.ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Project Engineer responsible for the delivery of engineering services from design through to constructionThis role primarily works independently applying deep technical knowledge and skills on large/complex projectsMay be involved in mentoring less experienced team members, act as a Project Leader responsible for project performance over time and/or manage a small team (typically 1-2 direct reports)Essential Skills/Qualifications:A minimum of 5 years engineering experience in the field of mechanical building services designA recognised mechanical engineering qualificationPrevious project leader/project management experience with multi-disciplinary project teamsThe ability to exercise substantial initiative and high-level judgement and to work autonomously to meet objectivesFamiliarity with the full range of RIBA design stages, from Stage 1 right through to Stage 4A tender designActive DV ClearanceDesirable Skills/Qualifications:A working level understanding of other engineering disciplines including electrical, public health and fire protection is highly desirable10 years engineering experience in the field of mechanical building services designInterested or have further questions, reach out now to jrufus@venngroup.com #J-18808-Ljbffr
