About Our Industry & Renewables Business

Our industry and renewables business blend the skills of two operational groups: environmental consultancy and engineering design. We provide expert and specialist consultancy services within the built environment with target sectors including logistics, manufacturing, mission critical facilities, offshore wind and ports. We pride ourselves on adoption of a data driven design approach enabling us to automate the boring and engineer the awesome.

Job Role

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join our existing team delivering and managing consultancy and design services for our UK-based and international clients.

Responsibilities

This is a stimulating opportunity to work within a growing, vibrant, and experienced team for some of the world’s most recognised companies. Project responsibilities range from inception to detailed design delivery and site support; duties include defining design brief, site inspections, and the design and specification of mechanical building services.

Qualifications

• BEng (Hons) or MEng in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering


• Achieved or working towards Chartered Status


• Suitable post-education experience


• Experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning Systems (HVAC)
  
  
  • Local Exhaust Ventilation Systems (LEV)
  
  
  • Low Temperature Hot Water Systems (LTHW)
  
  
  • Chilled / Cooling Water Systems
  
  
  • VRF-Refrigerant based Heating and Cooling solutions
  
  
  • Domestic Hot & Cold Water Systems
  
  
  • Above Ground Drainage Systems
  
  
  • Natural Gas

Location

The role will be based in Birmingham. As our clients are international, flexibility towards global travel is expected. The applicant should be in possession of a full UK driver’s license.
