AI Start-up up to £175,000 + Shares + Private Healthcare + Pension Were working with a well-funded AI start-up in London thats gearing up for huge growth. Theyre expecting to scale 10x over the next 18 months. Theyre now looking for their first ML Engineer, someone who can build out and own the foundations of their ML and cloud environment as the business scales. Youll be reporting directly into the CTO and working closely with the ML research team, so this is a real chance to make your mark in a company at the forefront of applied AI. The role This isnt your average ML infrastructure role - it sits right at the intersection of cloud engineering and machine learning. Youll be building out ML nodes, optimising training workloads in PyTorch, and deploying them across containerised environments with Kubernetes and Docker. As the go-to person for ML and cloud, youll design and manage scalable, GCP environments, and set up the CI/CD pipelines that enable rapid ML experimentation and deployment. The role is 4/5 days a week in London for the first few months. What theyre looking for Strong experience in cloud infrastructure engineering (GCP, AWS, or Azure is fine) Deep hands-on experience with PyTorch and other ML frameworks. Kubernetes and Docker expertise at scale. Experience with training models. Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for ML or data-heavy workloads. Someone who has worked with ML workloads in production. A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
