The payments team is a distributed and dynamic team responsible for developing the integration between mobile payments providers and the Proton user system. As a Mobile Tester in the payments department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications across the entire mobile user experience. You will be responsible for testing the mobile payment libraries and their integration into user-facing products.

You will advocate for continuous investments in software quality while ensuring prompt feature delivery to the benefit of our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute functional and non-functional automated tests for new features and products (Native Mobile applications).
  • Influence design, UX, product and technical requirements using your QA background; contribute to cross-company projects.
  • Collaborate with app developers to analyze challenges related to Android or iOS native applications.
  • Analyze user flows and issues and create test plans.
  • Maintain engagement with high-speed development processes, adjusting testing activities as needed.
  • Establish a team vision toward quality to ensure Proton users have a flawless mobile experience.

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer and 2+ years in automating mobile platforms.
  • Proficiency in Java or Kotlin with hands-on experience in UI testing frameworks (Espresso, UiAutomator, Compose UI Test).
  • Proficiency in Swift with hands-on experience in Xcode and UI testing using XCTest.
  • Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools.
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to identify issues and solve complex problems.
  • Good understanding of the software development life cycle and QA methodologies.
  • Proactivity and high motivation.

Bonus points

  • Experience with automated tests for Google Play Billing Library integration.
  • Experience with automated tests for Apple Store billing system.
  • Experience with Firebase Test Lab.

Salary range (Vilnius) - 68,100 - 90,000 EUR gross annual.
