As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting their growth. You’ll lead troubleshooting efforts for Linux systems and mentor other DevOps engineers.

  • Take charge of managing and optimising network infrastructure, ensuring its efficiency and stability
  • Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline network operations and enhance efficiency
  • Collaborate closely with the team to troubleshoot network issues, providing effective solutions
  • Seamlessly integrate on-premises and cloud services, particularly Azure, to maintain a unified network environment
  • Implement security measures and protocols to safeguard network integrity and protect against threats
  • Continuously monitor network performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing enhancements for optimal operation
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations and incidents, providing clear reports to stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions and practices, staying at the forefront of network technology
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, sharing expertise, and fostering a culture of knowledge exchange
  • Mentor junior DevOps engineers, supporting their professional growth within the team
  • A critical requirement, your Python skills should be robust and adaptable
  • You should possess extensive experience with Linux, both on-premises and in the Azure cloud
  • Your troubleshooting abilities should be top-notch, especially concerning Linux systems
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud services is essential to excel in this role
  • While not mandatory, expertise in Terraform is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) practices is advantageous
  • A background in networking is beneficial for this role
  • Familiarity with Jenkins can enhance your capabilities in this position
  • Up to £80,000 basic salary per annum + discretionary bonus
