Role Summary

Job Title:Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer Location:Newcastle (Hybrid: approximately 2 days remote) Salary:Up to £50,000As a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer (Service Desk), you will support a range of environments - from older on‑premises systems to modern cloud infrastructures. Working in a Managed Service Provider environment, you will resolve escalated incidents, troubleshoot complex network and cloud connectivity issues, and help ensure reliable, secure service delivery to clients. Key technologies include traditional networking, virtualisation, and Azure cloud (including desktop virtualisation).

Key Duties

Act as escalation point for major or complex network & infrastructure incidents from the service desk. Support client environments that vary: legacy on‑premises, hybrid, full cloud. Maintain and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, firewall setups across multiple customer sites.
