Essential Criteria
- Maintenance and repair of all broadcast facilities at Radio Suffolk.
- Main technical point of contact on site for all production and on-air staff; providing technical facilities, equipment and advice on-demand.
- Outside Broadcasts, from simple inserts to complex, station-wide events.
- Providing first and second line IT support, including patching studio broadcast PCs and rebuilding PCs/laptops as necessary.
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks by service impact and to work calmly under pressure.

- Experience planning and engineering complex outside broadcasts.
- Experience submitting and approving IT Servicedesk requests.
- Engineering BBC Introducing sessions (live on Thursdays) from studio or live venues in Suffolk/Norfolk.
If you can bring some of these skills and experience, we’d love to hear from you and encourage you to apply.
Before your start date, you may need to disclose any unspent convictions or police charges, in line with our Contracts of Employment policy. This allows us to discuss any support you may need and assess any risks. Failure to disclose may result in the withdrawal of your offer.
