OverviewSenior or Principal Process Engineer - Water treatment. BST: 8:00 - 18:00 (Mon/Thu) and 8:00 - 16:00 (Fri). Access Talent Group are recruiting for an Employee owned Tier one consultant. This consultancy is looking for a Senior or Principal Process Engineer within their Water treatment team to service a number of frameworks locally and nationally. The client has been a framework technical consultant for Yorkshire Water for the last 20 years and services a number of other frameworks. They have a global reach in the water business and service clients worldwide. The role is based mainly in Leeds, with one day per week in the central hub team; other offices are available if required.You will support the lead Engineer in growing the water business by executing projects with internal and external clients in the UK and globally as part of the wider Water business. This role involves working on a mix of clean and wastewater treatment sites.ResponsibilitiesSupport the lead Engineer in growth of the water business through executing projects with internal and external clients in the UK and globally.Perform process audits, investigations, feasibility studies, and outline and detailed design of clean water treatment works and associated systems.Develop client briefs into executable projects, build costed proposals, and present ideas and concepts to clients.Demonstrate technical ability and competence; take an active role in client meetings, Hazop studies, and presenting project outputs and proposals to clients.Provide technical support, guidance, and development of junior team members.Qualifications and RequirementsChartered or near chartered with a professional body.Knowledge of water chemistry.Good knowledge of drinking water treatment processes.Skills in process design (mass balances, P&IDs).Good knowledge of water treatment hydraulics.Numerate, flexible in approach, and able to think laterally to solve problems.Willingness to work across the UK; one day per week in Leeds hub; offices available in other locations if required.Other details: Salary and benefits are extensive; 25 days annual leave; 2 days hybrid working in the office; extensive benefits package. #J-18808-Ljbffr
