Job Title: Senior Performance Engineer (Battery Energy Storage Systems)

Client: My client is a market-leading, multi-faceted renewable energy developer with a project pipeline exceeding 10 GW across Europe. They have successfully developed and executed over 3GW of projects in the last 10 years. Due to recent investment in their BESS department, they are now looking for a Senior Performance Engineer to join their team and drive forward their success and support the business in achieving their short-term and long-term goals.

Role: As a Senior Performance Engineer, youll be in charge of maximizing the value per MWh of the company’s diverse battery storage projects. As a member of the Technical Operations Department, reporting to the Vice President of Asset Management, youll have the chance to develop and direct fleet-wide processes, strategy, and direction for all performance engineering and digital activities connected to the companys operating assets.

Key responsibilities for this role will include (but are not limited to):

Ensure effective management of performance for battery energy storage systems (BESS) in the portfolio. Manage and oversee performance reporting activities.
