We are looking for a Senior Performance Test Engineer to join our community of tech experts. We’re using fresh ideas and leading-edge tech to build and maintain digital solutions that will be used by millions of people every day.

Responsibilities

  • Lead performance testing across key services in an agile team with a pragmatic, strategic mindset focused on systems scalability and sustainability.
  • Test performance of APIs, UIs, microservices and enterprise databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
  • Identify performance bottlenecks across application and infrastructure layers and implement improvements.
  • Utilise performance testing tools (JMeter and K6) and monitoring tools (Grafana, Kibana, Kiali, Prometheus, AWS CloudWatch); apply IaC and modern DevOps practices.
  • Collaborate with developers and architects to ensure systems are fast, reliable and ready for scale.

You and your role

If you’re passionate about keeping systems running smoothly under pressure and helping build services used by millions, this could be the role for you. You’ll be part of an agile, forward-thinking team on high-impact projects, shaping strategy, mentoring others and supporting CI/CD integration through test automation and hands-on testing.

You’ll need to be comfortable using tools like JMeter or K6, have experience with AWS and Kubernetes, and know your way around Git pipelines. If you enjoy solving problems, spotting bottlenecks and improving systems, we’d like to hear from you.
