We're working with a rapidly growing SME that has doubled revenue year on year and is now seeking a
Senior Software Engineer
to drive the development of their bespoke CRM system. This is a pivotal role where you'll work directly with the Founder to remove bottlenecks, automate processes, and build simple, user-friendly solutions that underpin the company's next phase of expansion, including acquisitions and potential international growth.
What you'll be doing
Collaborating with business teams to scope, design, and deliver new CRM functionality
Enhancing and extending existing systems (stock management, job scheduling, automation)
Documenting processes and ensuring solutions are clear and easy to use
Exploring opportunities for AI and automation to streamline operations
What we're looking for
Essential skills:
Symphony Framework
MySQL
PHP 8+
Tailwind CSS
JavaScript
Desirable:
Experience with AI plugins / automation
Background in SMEs or fast-paced growth environments
Exposure to stock management or job scheduling systems
