The Opportunity This role is ideally suited to someone operating at Principal or Associate level (or a strong Senior ready to step up), who wants more ownership, visibility, and progression.
You'll take the lead on projects, act as a key client contact, and help shape the growth of the team - all within a business that genuinely supports its people.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading mechanical design delivery from concept through to completion Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, building long-term relationships Taking ownership of technical quality, coordination, and project outcomes Mentoring and developing junior engineers Supporting team growth and contributing to winning new work What They're Looking For
Strong experience in mechanical building services design (consultancy) Proven track record delivering projects across sectors such as commercial, residential, education, healthcare, or mixed-use Confident leading projects and engaging directly with clients Strong technical knowledge across HVAC systems and UK regulations Experience mentoring or managing engineers Chartered or working towards chartership (preferred) Why This Role Stands Out
