Purpose

As an Audio Processing Engineer, you’ll play a critical part in maintaining and leading the design, development, implementation, and troubleshooting of innovative audio and video systems and infrastructure. You will act as a technical expert within the team.

Accountabilities

  • Lead the development of innovative audio and video processing systems.
  • Design and implement complex encoding and multiplexing solutions.
  • Provide expert troubleshooting and technical support for complex systems.
  • Set technical standards and best practices for the team.
  • Document advanced system architectures and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Mentor and guide senior and junior engineers.
  • Lead and contribute to strategic project planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve technical challenges.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Lead integration projects for legacy and cloud-based systems.
  • Contribute to high-level strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Provide thought leadership through audio and video processing expertise and act as an SME for the team.
  • Own relationships with suppliers and industry peers.

Skills

  • Audio processing - Understanding of audio processing principles
  • Multiplexing - Encoding and multiplexing technologies
  • Diagnostic tools - Proficiency in diagnostic engineering tools and software

Knowledge & Experience

  • Substantial experience in audio and video processing
  • Extensive experience with cloud computing platforms and technologies
  • Proven track record in leading innovative technical projects

Qualifications

A degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is advantageous.
