The Role You'll lead and deliver mechanical building services design across multiple NHS and public sector projects. The role combines technical design, project leadership, and mentoring of junior engineers. Key responsibilities include: Leading mechanical designs (HVAC, domestic water, medical gases, etc.) for healthcare environments. Managing projects through all design stages, ensuring compliance with HTMs, HBNs, and CIBSE standards. Coordinating with clients, architects, and multi-disciplinary teams. Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff. Supporting sustainability and low-carbon design initiatives. About You Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent). Chartered Engineer (CEng) or actively working towards it. Strong background in NHS or healthcare building services projects. Sound knowledge of HTMs / HBNs and design standards. Proficiency in Hevacomp, IES, Revit MEP, and AutoCAD. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
