Your purpose:

On a typical day, you might lead a team to produce hazards assessments or author complex safety cases, supporting critical decision-making in the design, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear facilities. Alternatively, you may influence the client’s strategic direction to support obtaining a nuclear site license for innovative designs, network to develop the business pipeline, or deliver technical presentations to regulators.

This role offers opportunities to work with diverse clients across defence, nuclear generation, nuclear new build, fusion, and SMR markets. You will lead technical project delivery, solve complex problems, and present solutions to stakeholders. You should be committed to delivering high-quality technical work with attention to detail and a strategic outlook.

You will also contribute to and learn from the wider technical community within AtkinsRéalis, leveraging global expertise and fostering collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers to support growth, enhance project delivery, and develop your leadership skills.
