The Principal Structural Engineer will take responsibility for leading the structural design and delivery of permanent works across a variety of civil engineering and building projects. Working at the interface of design and construction, the role involves producing and reviewing structural designs, supporting site teams, and ensuring structural integrity across all phases of a project. The successful candidate will combine advanced technical expertise with strong leadership and coordination skills. Key Responsibilities Lead the structural design and analysis of complex permanent works such as basements, shafts, retaining structures, foundations, bridges, and superstructures using steel, concrete, and composite materials. Ensure designs meet all relevant standards and regulations, including Eurocodes, BS codes, CDM Regulations, and IStructE guidance.
