Senior / Principal Utility Engineer

Are you a skilled and motivated utility engineer with experience at least at senior level? Our client is looking for a driven candidate who has experience working on utility projects such as gas, water and electricity diversions during construction.

You will need a proactive approach and be able to manage relationships with services providers to successful execution of utility strategies.

Our client provides utility consultancy services across the UK and Ireland for a number of industry sectors. You will join a team dedicated to offering the highest quality of service on innovative and cost effective solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

Conduct load assessments to determine utility service capacity requirements for gas, water, and electricity. Evaluate the need for disconnections and diversions due to new developments and road layouts. Collate existing utility company service record drawings and obtain 'as fitted' drawings of the site where applicable. Undertake below-ground utility location mapping to identify existing services and potential conflicts. Develop detailed load schedules and produce multi-utility services drawings that present a site-wide utilities strategy.
