We are seeking an Chartered Process Engineer to join a growing engineering team, supporting a range of exciting new projects in the fine chemicals sector.\n\nThe role is based in Manchester working on a hybrid basis; typically 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.\n\nThis is a hands-on chemical engineer / process engineer role requiring strong technical capability, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.\n\nKey Requirements for the Chemical Engineer / Process Engineer:\n\n * \n\n Chartered Engineer status\n\n * \n\n 10+ years of relevant experience in chemical process design\n\n * \n\n Background in the fine chemical industrial sector, including:\n\n * \n\n PFD/PID development\n\n * \n\n Process descriptions & control philosophies\n\n * \n\n Process equipment datasheets\n\n * \n\n Process schedules for pipelines, valves, instruments, etc.\n\n * \n\n Process sizing calculations\n\n * \n\n HAZOP attendance\n\n * \n\n Collaborative approach, working closely with piping & layout, electrical, and control & instrumentation teams\n\n * \n\n Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with clients and multidisciplinary teams\n\n * \n\n Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally overseas for client visits and site surveys (no extended stays away from home)\n\n * \n\n Ability to manage multiple projects ranging from large greenfield/brownfield developments to smaller modifications and upgrades\n\nIf you’re an accomplished Chemical Process Engineer looking for a new role, please call Rebecca at Simply Recruitment Group or press APPLY NOW
