Job Role: Sr. Product Engineer

Job Location: Birmingham, UK

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering efforts, from concept to deployment, ensuring scalable and high-performance solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
• Drive architectural decisions and mentor junior engineers on best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps.
• Optimize existing systems for reliability, maintainability, and performance across cloud-native environments.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and uphold coding standards.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and propose improvements.

Skills

• Proficiency with Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
