Senior Product Engineer - We have been engaged by a leading Insurtech company to find a Product focused Senior Software Engineer to continue the shift from “feature factory” to product engineering.

Backed by a well-established global parent company, they operate with the agility of a scale-up while enjoying the stability of a larger organisation. Their technology powers underwriting and protection marketplaces which serves thousands of customers. You\'ll help insurers and advisors streamline processes and deliver better outcomes for customers.

They are undergoing a multi-year transformation, modernising their architecture and shifting towards a product-focused, SaaS model.

Responsibilities

• Drive cross-team initiatives
• Build new services/APIs to modernise backend infrastructure
• Create repeatable, productised solutions for external partners
• Mentor engineers, set best practices, and demonstrate what “great” looks like
• Help design systems which balance scalability, performance, and maintainability

The tech stack consists of Java21, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Helm and various AWS services.
