OverviewGlocomms is partnering with a leading fintech firm at the forefront of blockchain innovation, digital asset investment management, and AI infrastructure development. This is a highly technical role requiring deep expertise in secure software development, cloud-native architecture, and modern security practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coding—preferably from prior experience as a developer—and a passion for building secure, scalable systems in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.ResponsibilitiesArchitect and implement security solutions across cloud, application, and infrastructure layers.Perform threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews for new and existing products.Integrate and manage automated security testing tools (SAST, DAST, SCA) within CI/CD pipelines.Develop custom security tooling and scripts using Python and other modern languages.Collaborate with developers to promote secure coding practices and resolve vulnerabilities.Monitor and respond to security incidents, working closely with incident response teams.Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies relevant to FinTech, blockchain, and AI.Required QualificationsProven experience in application and cloud security, ideally within FinTech or high-growth tech environments.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and associated security services.Deep understanding of AppSec principles, secure SDLC, and DevSecOps methodologies.Familiarity with blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and digital asset platforms is highly desirable.Experience with security testing tools such as Burp Suite, SonarQube, Checkmarx, or similar.Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative team setting.Location & Work Arrangement:This position will sit out of the firm's UK office in London's West End.
