What will I be doing? You’ll take ownership of test activity within new product development projects – designing experiments, running lab-based investigations, and turning data into actionable insights. Acting as a technical lead in the lab, you’ll be hands-on with prototype systems, supporting development from concept through to market release.

Key responsibilities: Plan and deliver test programmes to validate new technologies Design and run experiments, then analyse and report results Operate and maintain print systems, ink delivery setups, and associated tools Lead problem-solving activities, identifying root causes and driving solutions Produce clear documentation including test reports, SOPs, and risk assessments Champion high lab standards through organisation, safety, and 5S practices Contribute ideas and initiatives to improve test capability and efficiencyWe’re looking for: Degree-qualified in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related STEM subject 6+ years’ experience in a lab or engineering environment, ideally within R&D Strong problem-solver with a methodical approach to complex systems Practical, hands-on mindset with the ability to lead from the front in a lab setting Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with peers, managers, and customers Familiarity with engineering best practices such as FMEA/FTA is an advantageInterested?
