Senior Production Engineer

We are recruiting for a Senior Production Engineer on behalf of a specialist engineering company in Portsmouth with a unique and highly interesting product range.
Role Summary
* Process Optimization: Analyse and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
* Equipment & Tooling Management: Oversee the selection, maintenance, and improvement of production equipment and tooling, including tool designing, gauges, and fixtures.
* Lean & Continuous Improvement: Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
* Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, defects, and equipment failures
* Automation & Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement automation solutions to enhance production efficiency.
* Equipment & Tooling Management: Oversee the selection, maintenance, and improvement of production equipment and tooling, including tool designing, gauges, and fixtures
* Quality Control: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure products meet industry standards and customer expectations.
