The Opportunity As a Senior Project Controls Engineer , you’ll take a lead role in planning, cost, and performance control across major capital projects. Working alongside programme managers, planners, commercial leads, and wider delivery teams, you’ll ensure robust governance, forward-looking insights, and timely reporting at every stage. Key responsibilities include: Leading the development and management of integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar tools Driving cost control , forecasting, and earned value management (EVM) processes Interpreting performance data and providing insights to guide project decisions Managing change control , risk analysis, and variance tracking Coaching junior team members and promoting best practices across programmes Preparing and delivering senior-level reporting and client-facing presentations Who We’re Looking For We’re looking for professionals who are technically strong, commercially aware, and confident working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. You should have: 5+ years’ experience in project controls or related roles Strong expertise in Primavera P6 , MS Project, and Excel-based reporting tools Demonstrable background in infrastructure (rail, defence, energy, utilities, etc.) Solid understanding of cost engineering , earned value, and schedule integration Ability to lead project controls workstreams and communicate with senior stakeholders A proactive mindset and a passion for delivering project success We Open Doors Others Can’t We don’t just match CVs to job specs—we match people to careers.
