About the job

The Senior Project Engineer will oversee the delivery of Substation and Utility project from a Utility Civils and Construction standpoint through design, construction, and commissioning. This role is responsible for ensuring all works are completed in line with design and programme allowances, maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The role will also be responsible for the delivery of all setting out, as builds and production of hand over packs. What you will bring

  • Proven experience in an engineering role within a busy environment
  • Strong hands-on engineering and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Proficiency in CAD (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD), knowledge of lean delivery, experience with Navisworks and electronic permitting systems
  • Familiarity with equipment validation and compliance standards
