Ceto Talent is recruiting a Senior Project Engineer to support the Surface Water Management Programme. This role offers the chance to lead the delivery of sustainable drainage (SuDS) schemes in partnership with councils, NGOs, and local stakeholders across London and the Thames Valley.

Rate: Market rate (InsideIR35)

Ceto Talent is recruiting a Senior Project Engineer to support the Surface Water Management Programme. This role offers the chance to lead the delivery of sustainable drainage (SuDS) schemes in partnership with councils, NGOs, and local stakeholders across London and the Thames Valley.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a programme of stakeholder-led drainage projects, from scheme definition through to delivery and completion.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with project partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Oversee legal agreements, monitor risks, and drive projects to meet agreed objectives.
• Lead on the assessment of new project opportunities via “Call for Projects”.
• Develop engaging reports and presentations to communicate outcomes and progress.
• Manage financial administration, including invoice approval and milestone reviews.

About You

• Significant professional experience in the water or civil engineering sector.
• Chartered (ICE, CIWEM) or working towards professional accreditation.
• Strong technical understanding of sustainable drainage solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
