  • Our first stage consists of a video call with our hiring manager — an opportunity for you both to find out more about each other.

  • An in-person meeting to see where you will be working.

  • Proven experience in an engineering role within a busy environment

  • Strong hands-on engineering and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and stakeholders

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

  • Proficiency in CAD (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD), knowledge of lean delivery, experience with Navisworks and electronic permitting systems

  • Familiarity with equipment validation and compliance standards

About the job


The Senior Project Engineer will oversee the delivery of Substation and Utility projects from a Utility Civil and Construction standpoint through design, construction, and commissioning. This role is responsible for ensuring all works are completed in line with design and programme allowances, maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The role will also be responsible for the delivery of all setting out, as-builts, and production of those artefacts.
