The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing engineering projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring alignment with quality standards such as ISO9000 and industry-specific design requirements. You will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, develop detailed engineering documentation, support product development initiatives, and mentor less experienced engineers. * Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or an applicable technical field

* Proficiency in 2D drafting (AutoCAD) and 3D solid modelling (Inventor)

* Experience with finite element analysis software such as ANSYS

* Knowledge of ISO9000:2000 standards related to engineering design systems

* Experience working within a project environment and liaising with customers on technical issues

* Ability to create, review, and approve engineering documentation including drawings, specifications, and calculations
