Job Title: Senior Project Engineer

Location: London Euston (Hybrid – 3 days in the office)

Salary: £80,000–£100,000 + excellent benefits (including 11% pension, 25 days holiday + BH)

We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to work client side on a major UK infrastructure programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering one of the country’s most complex and high-profile civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical assurance across design and construction, ensuring compliance with technical standards, regulations and contractual requirements.
  • Oversee design reviews and contractor deliverables, acting as a key point of contact for engineering assurance.
  • Support delivery teams with risk identification, reporting and problem-solving.
  • Represent the organisation in technical matters, including duties under CDM 2015 and NEC contracts.
  • Drive innovation and efficiency by promoting best practice design solutions.
  • Coordinate with contractors, commercial teams, project managers and environmental specialists to achieve successful outcomes.

What we’re looking for

  • Chartered Engineer (or working towards) with membership of a relevant professional institution.
  • Strong background in multi-disciplinary engineering delivery on major infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
  • Knowledge of UK construction regulations, CDM 2015 and NEC3 contracts.
  • Ability to balance engineering requirements with cost and schedule pressures.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and stakeholder management skills.
